Taylor Swift 1989

First of all this blogpost is long overdue but as some of you may know Swifty has released her new album 1989 recently (on the 27th of October to be exact!). I went out and purchased it straight away and I have been completely obsessed with it. Every song I am in love with and the little polaroid pictures that come with it are adorable, I'm thinking of hanging them up in my room. I have a few favourites off the album Blank Space, I Know Places, Clean and my #1 has got to be Wildest Dreams!

In all of Taylor's albums she has a secret message hidden in the lyrics of each song, it's a fun way to find out more about that particular song and also about the album as a whole as it tells a story. I always love working out these messages and if you do to I suggest you do not read any further! Because I thought I would share these hidden messages for those people who don't have the time to work them out or are just too lazy (usually me) I joke ;)

  The polaroids I received :)

1. Welcome To New York - We begin our story in New York

2. Blank Space - There once was a girl known by everyone and no one

3. Style - Her heart belonged to someone who couldn't stay

4. Out Of The Woods - They loved each other recklessly

5. All You Had To Do Was Stay - They paid the price

6. Shake It Off - She danced to forget him

7. I Wish You Would - He drove past her street each night

8. Bad Blood - She made friends and enemies

9. Wildest Dreams - He only saw her in his dreams

10. How You Get The Girl - Then one day he came back

11. This Love - Timing is a funny thing

12. I Know Places - And everyone was watching

13. Clean - She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything.

I Lost My Mojo... But I'm Back!!

It feels a little odd being back on this site after I've been away for around 3 months but its good to be back! I just lost my motivation for this blog as I was wrapped up in other things such as work. But I feel like I am going to have a few exciting moments coming up this year that I want to document and what better day to start than today!
Halloween will be coming up soon which is one of my favourite holidays (along with christmas!) So I'm getting all excited and I want to get my creative juices flowing and hopefully share them on here.

I also wanted to address why my video from Paris never made it to the internet. Long story short the video was a complete fail I just wasn't happy with the final product and I thought there is no point in sharing something which I am not happy with. Hopefully in the future I can make a better video of my future travel adventures, but for now I have no future adventures planned.

Visiting the Arc De Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower

Day 2 of our trip to Paris consisted of a lot more walking, so once we had some lunch/brunch we headed towards the Arc De Triomphe. It is situated on one of the main roads in Paris and there were a lot of fancy shops on the walk leading to the Arc De Triomphe, one shop in particular caught my attention... the Disney store! I got so excited I had to go inside, as we walked in we were greeted with 'do you want to build a snowman' from frozen I have to admit I was in my element at this point. I was stood with disney music blasting all around me and I was surrounded by a variety of disney items from toys to mugs to cuddly toys, I don't know how I made it out of there without buying one single thing.

                                                                            Mickey at the Disney store

We then left the disney store to carry on our journey to the Arc De Triomphe and once we got up close it truly was majestic! We unfortunately didnt spend too long here though because there were a lot of people asking for money. This was one of the big problems with our trip as it was obvious we were tourists the locals kept targeting us, this did not just happen at this location they were mainly situated in all the tourist areas of Paris and it was pretty scary! one lady even tried to grab hold of my bag asking me for money and because I refused she tried to grab my bag luckily I had left the majority of my money locked in the safe in our hotel room and I had tight hold of my bag so there was no way anyone was getting inside that bad boy!! ahaha.

One of the things I was most excited to see up close was of course the Eiffel Tower. I have been to paris once before and have bee up to the top of the Eiffel Tower so we decided to just go and see it up close rather than going all the way to the top because the queues were ridiculously long and there waiting time was around 3 hours.

This was the end of our adventures for today and we had dinner walked around the city a little more coming across many of the cities palaces before heading back to our hotel to get an early night so we would be able to start our next days adventures bright and early. As I stated in my previous blog post I will be uploading a video of my trip to youtube it can be found here:
The video wont be up till this Friday so keep your eyes peeled, I'll be following up with our last days adventures hopefully tomorrow :)

Celebrating Bastille Day in Paris

Last week I travelled to Paris to spend 4 days in the beautiful city, I flew out on the 14th of July and wasn't heading back home till the 17th of July. So I thought I would write up about some of the things I got up to whilst in the city of love *wiggles eyebrows*.

So the 14th of July was a Monday so I got up very early to head to the airport for my flight, our hotel was nowhere near the airport so we were aware we would need to get a train once we landed and then take a trip on the underground. However once we landed and then took a train from the airport into the centre of paris, we become aware that we would have to get at least 3 different underground trains to get to our hotel so we decided to walk instead... This was not a good idea because it took us around 3 hours before we finally got to our hotel! but we did have a very nice walk through Paris and we seen a lot more of the city than we would have if we had chosen to take the underground.
During our walk to the hotel we stumbled across the 'love lock' bridge, which you may have heard of, you know its the bridge where everyone buys a padlock writes a little love message on there then connects it to the bridge, yeah? Well we found that so called bridge and it was amazing I don't think I've ever seen that many padlocks in my whole life!

Once we arrived at the hotel it was evening time so we decided to freshen up then head out for dinner, we just ended up getting take out because most restaurants and cafes where really busy so I got a yummy cheese burger and fries. As it was the 14th of July this meant it was Bastille day which is like independence day for France as it marks the beginning of the french revolution, this was the reason why everywhere was so busy, we took a walk down to the Eiffel Tower where there was a firework display (best firework display I have ever seen by the way!) It went on for almost an hour finishing with the Eiffel tower lit up and sparkling.

Then this was the end of my first day in paris as I went back to the hotel to get an early night for the following days adventures. I did record some clips while I was in Paris but I'm currently editing that and I'm thinking I might narrate some clips and then just have some funky music in the background :) But if you would like to see that it will be up hopefully sometime this week on and I will write a blog post about day 2 tomorrow :)

My Summer Ball and Starting A New Chapter

My time at Reaseheath College has come to a close so I will be starting a new chapter in my life, I'm not entirely sure where I am going yet but I'm sure I will figure it out on the way. But this week has been a very very busy one for me!! On tuesday I had my Summer ball at college which I was super excited for but at the same time really nervous (as it meant there was going to be lots of attractive males in suits which makes me go weak at the knees) and I'm also a very socially awkward person so I find it difficult to have decent conversations with people I don't really know!! But once we got there we had to set up our tent on the college field because we live quite far from college, during this process the heavens opened and by the end of it we looked like drowned rats which we weren't to happy about as we had all our hair and makeup done before hand but we soon adjusted ourselves in the toilets so it wasn't all bad. After queuing for what seemed like forever we finally were let in. The night consisted of lots of alcohol (Don't worry we are all over the legal drinking age), beach balls and blow up saxophones/guitars and overall it was a really good night even though it was pretty much a blur, but my friends managed to capture some hilarious moments!!

From the picture on the right you can see someone was trying to steal my beach ball... Unlucky for him I wasn't letting go of that ball for anybody.
I clearly think I'm Miley Cyrus in this picture above!!

After having no sleep in the tent because people thought it would be funny to bang on our tent all night, open our tent and have a nosey who was inside and unpeg our tent! We set off home the next day and caught up on all our sleep :) and today on the 27th of June it was our graduation day.
Graduation day is where we went on stage collected our certificates and all the other students, teachers and parents gave us a round of applause. There was a fancy violinist who was proper going for it and he did an amazing cover of Clean Bandits Rather be. The event seemed to go on for a while and was a tad boring in parts but at the end we got lots of pictures with our tutors/course managers and friends and it was a nice way to end our time at Reaseheath. Although I complained pretty much every day while I was there because I had to get up at 5:30 every morning, I wouldn't change it for the world because I feel like I've made some lifelong friends and some amazing memories. The college in general will have a special place in my heart because I have grown a lot as a person while attending there and have gained a lot of confidence. So all that's left to say now is thank you Reaseheath and everyone in it for providing me with a truly unforgettable experience :)

I seen One Direction!!!!

Last night I went to see my boys on their Where We Are Stadium Tour and they were absolutely Amazing!!! (with a capital A) I would even go as far to say that it was the best concert I've ever seen in my entire life even better than swifty. I think it could have something to do with the boys cheeky charm, their beautiful voices (and faces obviously) and just the atmosphere in general. I had standing tickets and me and my friend who I went with had a pretty good view, we were quite far away from the main stage but the smaller stage we could see everything!!! Even the sweat running down Harry Styles face ohh ;).... I'm a Harry Styles kinda gal if you were wondering who was my favourite ahaha.

I managed to get a few sneaky shots of the boys but they aren't the best quality, when I go to see them in the future I need to invest in a better
quality camera!!

I mainly recorded the concert and you can see that at
Just a quick question who's your favourite member of 1D?

Just Go With The Flow!

I am currently freaking out about what I'm going to do with my life, I thought if I wrote it down it may make me feel a little better and I've been wanting to start a blog for a while so I can go back and reminisce.

At the moment I'm at college studying animal management but it won't be long until it's all over! The thought of this scares me greatly as everyone around me seems to have plans for the future and knows where they want to go, some are going to uni, others are going travelling (which is something I wish I could do but it requires money) some people even have a pretty good job already waiting for them.

Then you have me, I know I want to work with animals preferably dogs but it's just what career would I love? I'm thinking a guide dog trainer because I'd get to work with cute puppies and dogs and also help some amazing people! but It's hard to get into *sigh*

I guess if I work my butt off I'll get where I need to be but for the time being I think I'm just gonna go with the flow... :)

                    How cute!!!! <3
